Parking at the front door to this hike is one of the many benefits of a motorcycle :)
Very short hike, starts off with some steep and rooted out sections.
Have to be surefooted here, this is the cliff where “over 700 Oʻahu warriors either jumped or were pushed over the edge of the Pali” to their deaths. This is a death drop for sure, lucky there is some good rooted bushes on the Honolulu side that you can use if the wind picks up.
This is the Puka (stands for hole in Hawaiian). It can be seen from Kailua and Honolulu if you focus.
This is the view of the range from the Pali lookout area.
Another view from the Pali lookout.
A little poolcrashing is in order at the Sheraton Waikiki.
And my favorite Korean place Chodang.
And a lovely sunset to cap it off.
