Phoenix street photography

We came upon individuals practicing a sketch comedy skit in the backyard of a place known as the Firehouse.  We had been by here before but never had I the interest to walk inside, this place seeming more like some eccentric’s house as opposed to a bar or club.  The gate was open however and curiosity finally pushed me through.  People inside were surprisingly warm and welcoming to us, perhaps that we too are artists of a different medium did the community inside recognize us as friends.  I sat down and started up a conversation with a young artist named Aniyah about what the individuals were doing on the small stage constructed in the yard, as well as her own artistic exploration.  She excitedly showed me some of her works and opened my eyes to the sometimes slow and meticulous process of creating a piece of art.  Her medium of choice was oils and her imagination complex.
